Following the recommendation of the Labour Unions for a minimum monthly wage of N30,000,  Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has instructed the heads of all businesses owned by him to ensure the payment of a minimum wage of N33,000 to all on his pay roll.

Speaking on the development, Muhammad El-Yakub, the managing director of Gotel Communications, the directive by the PDP Presidential Candidate will be implemented after a meeting with Union officials.

Gotel Communications, Atiku owns the American University of Nigeria (AUN) which has primary and secondary arms, Adama Beverages Ltd and various brands of bottled juice, and Rico Gado, these are some of the business owned by the former Vice-President.

On his pay-roll, the Presidential Aspirant has about 50,000 people working in his companies across the nation.
